How might we enable organizational growth, innovation, and agility by helping leaders to be the best they can be?

Our leadership experiences take participants on a journey towards behavior change powered by science-based design thinking. Our seasoned facilitators are trained in the Sprint and Luma Institute methods and teach human-centered design at Northwestern University. They have real-world leadership experience and are passionate about inspiring lasting behavior change.

TEAMBUILDING EXPERIENCE

As today’s work environment changes, leadership must change as well. It’s time for Human-Centered Leadership. We turn the traditional teambuilding session upside down with design thinking activities that are geared towards creating greater empathy, co-creation, and failure tolerance among your leadership team.

Clients engage us in delivering an interactive teambuilding experience to:

  • Help leaders transition to a human-centered leadership mindset

  • Foster trust and team spirit among the leadership team (in a hybrid work environment)

  • Lay the groundwork for effective collaboration and leadership alignment

We customize each leadership teambuilding experience around the human-centered leadership behaviors you’d like to cultivate among the team.

I used to think failing was negative. Now I think it’s a great learning tool.

leadership Development Design Sprint

A design sprint compresses the best human-centered design techniques and applies them to a business challenge resulting in a tested prototype after just five days. It’s effective. It’s fun. It’s an affordable way to cultivate your leaders’ design thinking skills while they solve a real business challenge.

We can also work with you to design the sprint as a selection method for your leadership or high potential hiring program.

Client Story: Sprinting Through the new hire experience

Challenge: The leadership team at Arity wanted to create a positive first day experience for their scarce tech talent to impact new hire retention.

Approach: We conducted a five day design sprint where participants scoped, ideated, storyboarded, prototyped, and tested the new program.

Strategy Co-Creation Workshops

According to some studies, 60–90% of strategic plans never fully launch. A key reason for this is an over-reliance on the external landscape and disconnect from internal organizational reality. Often, the problem, organizational capabilities, immovable pressures, or cultural landscape are not fully understood. The good news: We can reduce the risk of failure by applying a more inclusive, co-creative approach that considers a multitude of perspectives.

How might we co-create a strategy that’s both, human-centered and business focused and that combines rigor and creativity?

EXAMPLE #1:

Your leadership team has recognized that this moment in time is a unique opportunity to create competitive advantage by re-imagining the future of work. But where to start? Our Future of Work Executive Visioning Session creates alignment, clearly identifies opportunities, and helps leaders articulate a compelling story of the future.

Example #2:

You’ve worked hard on designing a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) strategy and roadmap. Next, you need to define accountabilities across the leadership team. How? After our interactive DEI Leadership Alignment Co-Creation session you will walk away with a shared understanding, surfaced challenges, prioritized actions, and individual commitments.

I loved the context setting you did at the intro of the workshop and appreciated you moving us along in a disciplined way, but also with a sense of humor. The Executives all felt the organization helped us have important conversations and illuminate where we are not yet aligned.
